Glen Ferris Inn Valentine’s Day Special

Relax at Hawks Nest State Park. Book an overnight package for February 14 or 15, and enjoy dinner from the restaurant’s à la carte menu as well as breakfast for two. Or, if you want to get your heart racing, hike the tragically named, yet peaceful, Lover’s Leap Trail during your visit. 

Valentine’s Day Dinner at Smokey’s 

Indulge in a five-course dinner with wine pairings at Smokey’s Steakhouse at Adventures on the Gorge on February 14. A cocktail hour will precede the dinner at 6 p.m. with the dinner starting at 7 p.m. Add in a deluxe cabin rental and receive an extra 10 percent off your bill. You can also arrange for champagne and a dozen chocolate-covered strawberries to be in your cabin upon your arrival. Smokey’s will also be offering a three-course dinner on February 15.

A Sweet Stroll 

Wonka Walk 

Nothing says Valentine’s Day more than a sweet treat! Historic Fayetteville will host the second annual Wonka Walk on February 15. Make a stop at more than 20 shops, restaurants and businesses for goodies. If you’re lucky, you could find the golden ticket! Costumes and candy-inspired outfits are encouraged. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Fayetteville CVB. 

A Walk to Remember

Bridge Walk

Cross the catwalk underneath the famed New River Gorge Bridge during a three-hour adventure that takes place 850 feet above the New River. Bridge Walk tours are offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. every day, including February 14.
