The Gorge Is In All Its Holiday Splendor!
December 18, 2018It’s the holiday season, and the Gorge is dressed up in splendor! Celebrate with light displays, an adventurous walk and a New Year’s Eve party on the rim of the Gorge.
Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Every December, the Fayette County Park turns into a holiday scene fit for St. Nick himself. Each day until December 31, visit the Winter Wonderland Light Show, a sparkling display of Christmas lights, familiar characters and fun for the whole family. On Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there will be special events like wagon rides through the lights, carolers and build-an-animal activities. You may even get to spend time with Elsa and Olaf, the Grinch or Santa! Admission to the park to see the lights is $5.
