3 Amazing New Restaurants You Need to Try in Fayetteville

The foodie scene is Fayetteville has historically been exceptionally tasty, and this year there are some new places in town to try out.
We’re excited to try the new flavors, and also to see new spaces and offerings around town. Come eat and be merry with us!

New Restaurants:

Mackie's Biergarten1. Mackie’s Biergarten

Located north of the New River Gorge Bridge on Lansing Road, Mackie’s Biergarten has cold beer and hot food. Featuring incredibly savory daily specials like sliders and tacos, this is one eatery you don’t want to miss.

2. The Station

While The Station is still under construction, we expect them to open later this fall. We’re excited to try the new creations from chef Oscar Aguillar (formerly of Diogi’s) using locally sourced ingredients.

3. Vandal’s Kitchen

Situated in a historic Victorian house right in downtown, Vandal’s Kitchen is tantalizing taste buds with their daily specials featuring house-made baked goods, waffles and daily omelet and lunch specials. If you haven’t had one of their ginormous waffles topped with sugar-free local fruits, you simply do not know what you are missing.

Changes to Favorites:

1. Secret Sandwich Society

Already well known for their awesome sammies, burgers, fries and local brews, you can now buy local craft beer on tap to go in a growler at Secret Sandwich Society.

2. Gumbo’s

Gumbo’s is an old favorite, but they’ve just re-opened in their new location on the corner of Maple and Court Street, and we’re happy to be enjoying their Cajun flavors again. The new space offers a larger kitchen and dining area, which means more room for more diners!
