You’ve seen nothing for miles when you come across this little attraction along the mountain roads.
The Mystery Hole has been a topic of wonder for visitors far and wide since the 70s. The offbeat little attraction makes a big claim— “Laws of Gravity Defied!”
It’s one roadside tourist stop worth making on your vacation through West Virginia.
It’s a throwback to the old days of family vacations, when you’d drive for miles, passing billboards for ‘the world’s largest’ everything. But the Mystery hole needs no signs. It definitely stands out.
It’s strange. It’s fun. It’s cheesy. It will make you smile.
And what you’ll find inside really is mysterious…

Admission is inexpensive. It’s only $6.50 for adults and $5.50 for children. The tour is about 15 to 20 minutes. And the rules are clearly posted:
•    NO electronic devices of any kind (Phones, cameras, recorders, etc.)
•    NO large purses or backpacks
•    NO drinks or food
•    NO firearms
•    NO pets
Ok, then. You’re good to go.
Leave your sense of direction at the door.
