The Showdown-Love Hope Art’s Annual Live Painting Fundraiser at Freefolk Brewery - March 27, 2026 - March 27, 2026

Doors open at 5pm, live painting begins at 6pm! Finals starts at 8pm

Join us for a fun evening at our upcoming third annual live painting fundraiser – The Showdown! Come on out to The Freefolk Brewery in Hico for a night of live painting, music, vendors and an auction.

The Showdown will feature a multi-round competition, with 14 West Virginia artists working in front of an audience to create their masterpiece. Attendees will vote to determine who advances from round to round. Each round will last 40 minutes.

Come on out to watch fellow local artists and artists across the state in friendly competition while the audience cast their votes and cheer them on! Tickets by donation, kids are free! Suggested donation is $10 at the door

The purpose of this event is to support the arts & artists of the New River Gorge region. All proceeds will go towards Love Hope Center for the Arts and participating artists.
