Taste of Italy Dinner & Wine Pairing

Join Smokey’s at Adventures on the Gorge for a feast worthy of the Italian Countryside. This reservations-only dinner includes six courses, each featuring Italian favorites. Enjoy the ambiance of Smokey’s, perched right on the rim of the New River Gorge National Park while being transported to Italy, where the food is just as important as the people you share it with, and the wine adds to the experience.
MENU- $89 per person (Note: For vegetarian preferences, will incorporate tofu or portabella mushrooms in place of meat)
Course One: Heirloom tomato/focaccia crouton/whipped ricotta/basil pesto
Course Two: Grilled eggplant with herbed caponata red pepper-infused olive oil
Course Three: Ravioli stuffed with goat cheese and spinach orange butter sauce crispy pancetta
Course Four: Arancini stuffed with slow-roasted roast beef, pickled vegetables, and aged provolone pepperoncini marinara
Course Five: Tarragon and pine nut crusted veal medallion with artichoke and caper butter sauce
Course Six: Lemon Biscotti sweet mascarpone served with americano
Course Two: Grilled eggplant with herbed caponata red pepper-infused olive oil
