New River Birding & Nature Festival

May 2, 2016 @ 10:00 am - May 8, 2016 @ 2:00 am

Birding, Ecology, Friendship & Fun
In and around the New River Gorge National River in the heart of the upland, hardwood forests of West Virginia identified by Cornell Lab of Ornithology as a crucial stopover habitat for the continued survival of species such as Golden-winged, Blue-winged, and Swainson’s Warblers, as well as the Scarlet Tanager. We highlight more than 100 bird species on a variety of birding field trips.
