The count area encircles territory between Beckwith, Mount Hope, Mossy, and Cunard.
Spend as much time as you choose to on Dec 20th. Identify the species of birds you see and count the number of each, from the comfort of home within the circle and/or on an easy driving route adventure discussed and assigned in advance.

The Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is a community science program of the National Audubon Society since 1900. Thousands of volunteers participate within their local circles on their count days. Compiled data is used to better understand bird population changes and trends.
