Get Away Glamping on the Greenbrier River
Welcome to Get Away Glamping on the Greenbrier River located on the historic
Hinton-Alderson Airport! Our Glamping sites are a great place to stay after your
day at the New River Gorge! We have 3 Glamping sites that sit along the bank of
the Greenbrier River! From the front of your tent, you can look out over ½ a mile
of the scenic Greenbrier river! Other than the occasional kayaker or floater, you
have an incredibly peaceful and private view of the river. You can fish, swim, or
float to your heart’s desire! The back of your tent gives you views of the runway
for the historic Hinton-Alderson Airport where it is not unusual to see vintage
airplanes come to land. The tent sites are appointed with a queen bed with a
memory foam mattress and two side tables. Bedding is provided…no need to
bring your own! There are Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, grill for cooking, and
your own firepit with wood provided! We are open from mid-May to mid-

Campers have access to a bathhouse located across the runway…a hot shower
and flush toilet are available for your use! You can also charge your devices, if
needed, and have access to a microwave oven.
