Race through New River Gorge National Park and beat the train to the finish line at Highball to Thurmond Ultra & Relay!

This is the event where 50 mile participants have the option to take a scenic train ride at the finish.

All of our races finish in Thurmond, West Virginia. With a population of 5 at the 2010 census, it is the least populated railroad town in the nation and part of the New River Gorge National Park.
